Some Excuses

So first of all – I am INCREDIBLY sorry for my weeklong disappearance without saying a word about it.  I really didn’t think I would be gone from the internet for so long – otherwise I might have at least mentioned it.  My excuses: It was Christmas, my grandmother, aunt, and uncle unexpectedly came into town, then our internet was down for two days, then I had a girls weekend with my mom and my sister, then it took me three days to get back to France instead of one.  Anyhow, I’ve been having a great time and reading lots!  YAY!

Since I didn’t already get a chance to say it -

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!

and

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

My Christmas was absolutely wonderful – I got to see all of my family, and I got lots of AWESOME presents. . . tons of fun books included!  You’ll be hopefully seeing those later today in a big two week version of In My Mailbox.  My New Year’s Eve, however, was spent stressing about the fact that yet ANOTHER of my flights had been cancelled, then trying (and succeeding – go me!) to find a way to Houston to catch my flight back to Paris.  At midnight, I was reading in an airplane.  Good times, good times.

Anyhow, theoretically, I’m back!   Thanks for all your Christmas and New Year’s messages while I was away!!

Nice to have you back! Can't wait to see the books you got!
And maybe I'm the only one who thinks so but...isn't it cool to slip into a new year at ten thousand feet? :)

Happy New Year!
