In My Mailbox (1)

In My Mailbox was started by The Story Siren and inspired by Alea of Pop Culture Junkie.

So I don't really order books off the internet, as I really just love bookstores. And I haven't started receiving books from publishers for review yet, as I'm still kind of new to this, and I haven't yet figured out how that whole thing works.
And I usually don't get books from the library, as the English libraries here have a RIDICULOUS yearly fee.

So the In My Mailbox thing isn't really something I can do, as books don't really arrive in my mailbox.

HOWEVER, this past week I picked up two books from the bookstore that I am super excited about. And since this was the first time in a LONG time that I actually bought MYSELF a book (people buy me books a lot, because I love them so much and all), I thought I would post them in an In My Mailbox post.

Evermore by Alyson Noel, since I've been reading so many great reviews of it
Audrey Wait by Robin Benway since it's about an Audrey. And it looks awesome!

YAY for books!

You don't have to actually get books through the post to participate in IMM. I've heard good things about Evermore. Its on my TBR pile. Enjoy.

I know the feeling, I much rather go to the bookstores to get my books. I am not much for ordering books online, and when I finally make up my mind to get a book I am a little impatient (I need it now even if I am not going to read it now.) I do on occasion order online only because I can't find the book in the stores. And I have not started getting books from publishers either, I haven't even noted I will do it yet for a small twing of fear. But, I may do it at some time here when I get a good grip of what I am doing. I don't usually do the library thing because I don't like being on a time limit and I like keeping the books I read since I like most of them so much.

The books sound good you have here. Can't wait for your reviews.

Just visiting from Melissa @ My World and thought I'd say hi. You have some very interesting books there.

I would happily read either of those, especially Evermore. I'm actually addicted to going to the bookstore and to ordering books. I usually go to the store to look, and then order books because it makes me happy to come in from work and see them on my doormat.

Talking of bookshops, have you been to Shakespeare and Company? I'm desperate to go there.

Wow - how much is the library fee? I guess it could be worth it if the library had REALLY good books...
